Snorkeling is one of the easiest water activities you can practice in your hotel or any beach you visit near from Cancun.

This tour gives you the opportunity to admire the colorful and incredible sea life of the second largest coral reef system in the world. Until now, it was only possible to enjoy this beauties by scuba diving. But now you have the chance to enjoy it too.
A Real Submarine
Atlantis is not a glass bottom boat, but a real 48 pax full equipped submarine certified by the US Coast Guard, and goes up to 100 ft. deep during the tour. You will have the chance to see the controls and how the Captain drives this 4 million dollars submarine.
An All Day Adventure
This is one of the most complete tours you will find, as you will visit Playa del Carmen City and Cozumel Island, spam the transparent blue waters of the Caribbean and enjoy the great experience of being in a real submarine and admire the colorful sea life around the second largest coral reef system in the world... all in the same tour!
They pick you up at the lobby of your hotel and take you by a comfortable van to Playa del Carmen downtown. Then you take a nice fast ferry to the island, in a 40 minutes ride where you can enjoy great views from the open terrace at the top of the ferry. Once in Cozumel, they take you to the Atlantis facilities by taxi and give you a briefing about what is about to happen. Then you board a nice open vessel that gives you a 10-15 minutes ride to the Chankanaab Park waters, where the submarine is waiting for you. Chankanaab is a protected marine park where the prettiest coral reefs formations are. Your vessel approaches to the submarine and they help you to board it safely. You will be surprised how wonderful this submarine is, with air conditioner, windows for everybody and great narration about technical details of the submarine and its operation, the local sea life, coral reefs and all that goes on during the ride (40 minutes total). After the ride you have the chance to visit their gift shop and once you are ready they take you back to Cozumel downtown and then to Playa del Carmen and to your hotel at Cancun or Riviera Maya.
