A really nice small island where you can swim in warm and clear waters while enjoy your favorite beverages and snacks.

When you arrive, just walk to the north end of the island (known as "Punta Norte") and you will find great beaches and waters.

After swimming you can take a walk through the downtown, which still has its original fishermen town flavor, and end your visit with a spectacular Caribbean sunset and a fresh and colorful lighted evening.

  Directions

From Cancun, take a taxi to "Gran Puerto", where the ferry's pier to Isla Mujeres is located, and take the 20 mins. ferry to the island.

Ferries depart and return every 30 minutes from 5:30 am to 8:30 pm and then every hour until  12:30 at night.

  Costs

For the taxi consider $15-$20 dollars from Hotel Zone to the ferry's pier, or $5-$7 dollars from down town.

Ferry is $15 dollars round trip. Once you are in Isla Mujeres, no transportation is needed for enjoying the down town and main beaches.
